In the municipality of Antilla, different works of social benefit have been carried out, aimed at improving the aesthetics of an almost centenary city and the quality of life of its inhabitants. However, not everyone appreciates this effort, and there are those who irresponsibly destroy these common goods, without taking into account the human and material resources used. I am not going to refer to them today, for them there are the warnings, the decrees, the fines, the supervisors... Today I would like to reflect on those who remain indifferent to these social indisciplines.

The indifferent ones don't care if everything is destroyed in front of their eyes, they simply don't want to get into trouble and remain impassive. These characters do not even bat an eye if an alcoholic breaks a recently installed street light, or if the children, as part of their games, tear up the flower bed in the park, or if a couple in love tries to perpetuate their love by scratching their names on the recently painted wall of a doctor's office... The indifferent are not moved by anything and precisely their inability to act against what has been done badly, turns them into enemies of those who "love and found".

That better Antilla we want is not the task of a few and the city would appreciate a greater commitment to preserve what is achieved every day. For that reason, to these eternal accomplices of the badly done, goes this anonymous phrase, and with a little luck, maybe their slumbering conscience will be awakened:

"I do not fear FRIENDS, at worst they may betray me; I do not fear ENEMIES, at worst they may kill me; I fear INDIFFERENT PEOPLE, they neither kill nor betray, but by their tacit silence they consent to the existence in the world of treachery and crime."
