With great pride, so that the world may know them, our citizen's portal has become a catwalk through which the most valuable of the Antillean pedagogy has been parading. But this work is strengthened by other people, who although they are not from the sector, contribute, from their roles, to the formation of the new man. Such is the case of Jorge Valentín López Torres, a lawyer by profession and passionate about pedagogy.He was born on the distant December 16, 1942, and it is only a few days before he reaches 81 years of age. As he has the teaching bug inside him, he worked as a teacher and was also a leader of the Education Workers Union.
In Maricel Gómez, a defender of the history of this land, Jorge has found the perfect ally to continue educating the current generations. That is why, from the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution, he is committed to strengthening values such as patriotism, dignity and justice.
