The National Association of Economists and Accountants of Cuba (ANEC) in Antilla held its Municipal Assembly ratifying the commitment with the Revolution and with the contribution of each associate to the Cuban economic model of socialist development. With 100% attendance, the work session began, where issues related to the importance of the proper functioning of ANEC at the base, the role of the association in the computerization of society, the support of expert groups to the economic commissions of the Party and the Government, the training of those who perform these functions and the progress of the Development Strategy until 2030, among others, were discussed.

Jorge Luis Sánchez Infante, provincial president of ANEC, said that the Cuban economy is going through a difficult situation and urged those present to follow the macroeconomic updates and their influence on the life of the territories. He also recommended that ANEC be strengthened from the grassroots to contribute to the municipality, the province and the country.

The stage was propitious to recognize Aleida Chong Legrá, for her meritorious work dedicated to the association, who received the recognition visibly moved. Ana Rafaela Hernández Rosa was elected president, who assured superior results in the next stage of work.
